Sociology doctoral program ranked top 20 in nation for research

The sociology Ph.D. program at UNH has been ranked in the top 20 sociology programs in the U.S. for scholarly research activity according to Academic Analytics data for 2015, the latest available.
There are 184 U.S. sociology graduate programs, 140 of which offer doctoral degrees.
Academic Analytics serves research universities in the United States and the United Kingdom, providing objective data that administrators can use to support strategic decision-making as well as a method for benchmarking in comparison to other institutions.
