Bill McNamara

Bill McNamara has joined UNH as executive director of hospitality services. McNamara will be responsible for strategic oversight and administration of the hospitality organization, which provides board plan meal service, retail services, conferences, catering, concessions and nutrition education to the campus community.

“I am excited to have Bill McNamara joining us as the executive director of hospitality services” says David May, associate vice president of business affairs. “He brings tremendous knowledge, energy and excitement to our team.”

McNamara has spent the last 12 years of his career as director of dining services for Auxiliary Services Corporation at SUNY Cortland, where he led the dining program through extensive transitions, including two major changes to the meal plans, significant renovation projects and construction of a new dining facility that opened last January. Prior to that, he was operations manager for Cornell University’s dining unit. McNamara has a hotel management degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

“I’ve always had great respect for the quality and innovation within the UNH leadership team and dining program,” says McNamara. “It is my honor to join them and share in their future success.”
