The Stanley A. Hamel Traveling Fellowship is a new funding opportunity that provides approximately $3800 for travel in Europe. The fellowship is open to UNH graduating seniors, recent (within 5 years) graduates, or currently enrolled graduate students (graduating seniors and recent alumni are given priority). Students or alumni should have a cumulative or final GPA of at least a 3.0. Students should be planning for travel in Europe (western or eastern, including Russia) for a minimum of 4 weeks between May 1, 2014 and April 31, 2015. Students should possess or plan to develop some language facility relevant to the proposed itinerary.

The Stanley A. Hamel Traveling Fellowship is funded by an endowment from Stanley A. Hamel through the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation and administered through the Office of National Fellowships at the University of New Hampshire.
