Nora was a sophomore studying Marketing. During spring semester 2021, she interned with Brookline Interactive Group as a Social Media Fellow. BIG is an integrated media and technology center that serves the Brookline community through innovative classes and partnerships. Nora scheduled posts for all of BIG’s social media platforms and developed a participatory platform for Brookline. In working with various nonprofits and organizations to achieve this goal, Nora was able to strengthen her communication and problem-solving skills in areas where it was most necessary. Nora was thrilled to dive deeper into how to target advertisement campaigns for specific demographics especially ones that she was not too familiar with. Semester in the City allowed Nora to gain professional experience and develop her abilities before jumping into the workforce.
