Derek is an Information Systems and Business Analytics major. He joined the Changemaker Fellows to meet like-minded people who wanted to focus on sustainability in the business world, and to work towards sustainability issues about which he cares. In addition to being a Fellow, in high school Derek was an avid Scuba Diver and participated in many coral restoration projects and ocean cleanups. Additional projects included designing adaptive Scuba diving equipment for physically disabled divers. This passion sparked his desire to join the Changemaker Fellows and work towards issues related to Life Below Water.
