Fall 2020 Semester in the City Fellow
Isabella Luca

Isabella Luca, or Izzy, was born and raised South of Boston in Canton, MA and even being just a little bit away from home, she was very excited to have officially interned at CREW in order to further pursue her academic and personal interests around the environment, people, and bettering communities! One thing she hoped to gain through being a part of Semester in the City was learning how to be a real changemaker where it is both lacking in the world and where it really matters! She was a Sophomore at the University of New Hampshire and was working towards a double major in Community and Environmental Planning and Sociology as well as a minor in Environmental Conservation and Sustainability. She was happy to have accomplished becoming a Dean’s List student whilst pursuing her passions in these areas of study! While still figuring out extracurricular interests, she had joined her school’s Sociology and Planning Clubs. She hoped to pursue her love of music and theatre further once able to rejoin her college. Among these interests, she also loves to sing, read, watch movies, learn more about Boston, and attempt to play guitar.
