Arrive to pick up Housing Packets (residential students) and welcome materials for summer program. Those arriving after 12pm (including Commuters) will have to come at 2pm to the program kickoff in Hamilton-Smith Hall.
12:10 – 12:55 PM Lunch on Your Own
Students may opt to eat locally or eat lunch for free in Holloway Commons with their name tag.
12:00 – 2:00 PM Settling In
Take this time to either settle into your room, travel to pick-up last-minute things, or visit key offices (i.e., Dining/ID, Financial Aid).
2:00 – 3:30 PM Student Program Welcome at Hamilton-Smith Hall, Room 210
Join this discussion of program expectations and tips for a successful transition to college (open to CONNECT students only). For week two, CONNECT STEM will join the Classic students for the schedule overview.
2:00 – 3:30PM Family Panel Discussion at Hamilton-Smith Hall, Room 205
Parents and Families are invited to a panel conversation with Associate Deans for a session on supporting CONNECT students in their transition to UNH.
3:30 – 4:30 PM Mentor Time (location will be chosen by group)
4:30 – 5:25 PM Dinner with your Mentor at Holloway Commons (HoCo)
5:30 – 6:30 PM Icebreaker at Hood House Lawn
Spend time bonding with fellow CONNECT Mentees and Mentors. (Rain location: Hamilton-Smith 210)
