Many professionals are not trained to recognize and intervene when sibling aggression or abuse occurs in a family. Families, too, are unsure how to identify or stop harmful sibling dynamics. Those who have experienced sibling aggression and abuse often struggle to name and understand their experiences. The SAARA Initiative provides up-to-date, science-based information and resources for professionals and practitioners, parents and families, and siblings with lived experience of sibling aggression and abuse.
