Code of Conduct

Bioinnovation Symposium event attendees comprise a network of people gathered with a common agenda, motivation and interests to collaborate by sharing ideas, information and resources. Organizers of the Symposium invite all sponsors, speakers, attendees, vendors and others to help create a safe, respectful and positive experience at the event. As a community, we will strive to provide a harassment-free, welcoming and inclusive experience for everyone. When you participate in the Bioinnovations Symposium you are contributing to the overall experience, which makes us accountable to each other. 

The symposium expressly prohibits harassment and discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, national origin, age, familial status, protected veteran or disabled status, genetic information, or any other protected class.  

The Bioinnovations Symposium Code of Conduct exists to ensure that all participants understand expectations of acceptable behavior and what behavior will not be tolerated. All participants are expected to abide by this code of conduct on-site and at all conference-related social events off-site including related online communities and social media. Symposium participants violating the code of conduct may be sanctioned or dismissed from the symposium without a refund at the discretion of the symposium organizers.
