COVID-19 Testing Week of Oct. 12; Please Get a Flu Shot

Oct. 9, 2020

Dear Colleagues—

Our weekly COVID-19 testing continues for faculty and staff who are coming to the Durham campus. Remember, if you are working remotely you do not need to participate in the testing program.

The week of Oct. 12 testing at Wildcat Stadium will be available Monday-Friday (Oct. 12-16), 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 17, 9 a.m.-noon. Please register in advance with ConvenientMD and remember to bring a valid photo ID. Also, if you have not already done so, please update your profile. This is critical to our ability to perform contact tracing.

We also want to take a minute to remind you that flu prevention is more important than ever during the COVID-19 pandemic. UNH Health & Wellness is offering flu clinics over the next two weeks. An appointment is required. If you are fully remote for work and want to receive the flu vaccine on campus you must have a negative COVID test result within the past seven days of coming to campus . While these on campus clinics are available, flu shots are also available from your primary care physician or at pharmacies around the state. For employees who are not covered by the USNH Cigna health insurance plan, please check with your insurance company prior to scheduling your appointment to ensure that they will cover the cost of the vaccine.

Please continue to remain vigilant. Stay home if you feel sick and continue to follow all public health recommendations around mask wearing, hand washing, physical distancing and illness.

Sincerely,

Paul Dean
