The University of New Hampshire has long played a significant role in the state’s first in the nation Presidential Primary. Over the last 100 years, as the importance of the primary has grown, so has the reputation, size and reach of the university. Venues

Durham, NH

Our main campus in Durham offers the energy and beauty of a residential New England college campus, conveniently located between three major airports and three major cities.

Capacity: 7500

The “Whitt” is a 20,000 square foot multipurpose arena that can accommodate a myriad of seating and event arrangements.  With capacity up to 7,500, the arena is the venue of choice for large University events, previously playing host to presidential debates, sold-out concerts and Broadway performances.  The University is experienced in providing comprehensive technology, staging, A/V and lighting service and support.

Capacity: 3,000

The Field House is the hub of UNH Athletics, and renovations in 2001 and 2007 make it a versatile venue for mid-to-large scale events on campus.  With over 18,000 square feet of space and capacity for up to 3,000, the Field House has hosted numerous rallies, speeches and policy rollouts over the last two decades.

Originally the University dining hall, Huddleston Hall is one of the oldest buildings on campus.  Today, the building’s architecture and elegant environment create an inviting atmosphere for a wide-range of events.  The building regularly hosts campus and community meals and events as well as campaign speeches and rallies.  Huddleston has also served as the "spin room" for national presidential debates.

The Paul Creative Arts Center is home to two theatres including the Johnson Theatre, a fully equipped 688-seat theatre and the largest auditorium space on campus.  The Center also houses three dressing rooms, a green room and classrooms.  In addition to theatrical productions and lectures, the University has utilized the theatre for hosting national presidential debates and large campus events.

As the “heart of campus,” the Memorial Union Building offers services, conveniences and amenities to enhance the quality of life for students, faculty and staff at UNH, while also providing a welcoming space for visitors to campus.  In addition to food service, numerous breakout rooms, and other amenities, the MUB houses two large multifunction rooms, the Strafford Room and the Granite State Room.  Both rooms are well equipped to handle events as varied as banquets and lectures to serving as media holding and spin rooms during presidential debates.

Manchester, NH

Our urban campus in downtown Manchester is located in the newly renovated historic Pandora Mill building overlooking the Merrimack River.

The new auditorium in the recently renovated Pandora Building is a versatile option for events in downtown Manchester. An open floor plan allows for a variety of seating and staging arrangements. Exposed brick throughout the room reflects the historic character of the room, while an integrated AV system and two high definition, wide-screen projectors and screens meet modern technology needs.

Concord, NH

The UNH School of Law in Concord sits just off Main Street in view of the golden State House dome.

UNH Law’s main lecture hall is a state of the art option for lectures, presentations and conversation-style events in the state’s capital city. The fixed lecture hall style seating can accommodate up to 155, while the hall’s presentation area can be adjusted to meet a wide-variety of setup requirements. The hall is equipped with an integrated AV system, audio & video recording and live stream technology, and two high definition, wide-screen projectors and screens.
