UNH’s Noyce Scholarship program provides scholarships, stipends, and programmatic support to recruit and prepare undergraduate and graduate STEM majors and professionals to become teachers in grades 5-12. Scholarship and stipend recipients are required to complete two years of teaching in a high-need school district anywhere in the United States for each year of support.
UNH Noyce Scholars will engage in additional teacher education program components that focus on preparing for careers in schools with a culturally diverse student body. The UNH Noyce Scholarship program will provide support for the Scholars as practicing professional teachers in whatever high-need districts in which they choose to work.
