In April, the Hamel Scholars enjoyed lunch and discussion with Congressman Chris Pappas from New Hampshire's 1st District. Congressman Pappas shared his affection for the state of New Hampshire and his pride in representing its citizens. Scholars asked questions about New Hampshire environmental policy, health care, and the opioid epidemic, and the Congressman answered all questions with care and honesty.
