The main goals of the Link Foundation Ocean Engineering and Instrumentation Ph.D. Fellowship are to foster ocean engineering and ocean instrumentation research, to enhance both the theoretical and practical knowledge and applications of ocean engineering and ocean instrumentation research, and to disseminate the results of that research through lectures, seminars and publications. The award consists of $27,000 and can be used towards the Fellow’s academic year and summer stipend, expenses associated with the Fellow’s research (e.g. supplies, equipment, computing charges), to support the Fellow’s attendance at one or more technical meetings and/or to defray the cost of publishing the Fellow’s research results.
