The American Association of University Women's Selected Professions Fellowship aims to support women in graduate and professional degree programs in fields where female participation traditionally has been low. Women in master's level degrees in architecture, computer/information science, engineering, and math/statistics are eligible for funding in any year of study. Women in business administration may apply for second year of study only; women in law may apply for third year of study only; and women in medicine may apply for third or fourth year of study only. Applications for these three fields are open only to women from ethnic minority groups historically underrepresented in certain fields within the United States.
