Digital Health Ideation
February 16 &17, 2024
The College of Health and Human Services (CHHS), Center for Digital Health Innovation (CDHI) and the Peter T. Paul Entrepreneurial Center (ECenter) are collaborating on a Digital Health (DH) Ideathon for UNH undergraduate/graduate students to participate in with the opportunity for a cash prize! The top three teams will each win $500 to be divided amongst the team members.Starting in the late afternoon on Friday, February 16 through 4:30 PM on Saturday, February 17, students will be introduced to the idea of digital health innovation, presented with a few opportunities for problem-solving around the areas of heart health and stress management, genomics, and long-term elder care and then provide resources and time to develop creative solutions to one issue within digital health innovation. Teams will have the opportunity to receive feedback from innovators in the various fields of digital health and will ultimately present their concept to a panel of judges for a cash prize. The event will be held in the Madbury Commons GTP room (21 Madbury road – entrance across from Hop & Grind)

What is a Hackathon?
A hackathon/ideathon is any event where people come together to creatively solve problems. The goals of a hackathon/ideathon are to strengthen the community that the hackathon is for, be welcoming to all knowledge levels and backgrounds, provide an opportunity for participants to learn something new, and provide a space and a time for participants to make headway on problems in which they are interested.
