100 Years of Wildcats logo and old photo of Thompson Hall

This year marks the 100th anniversary of officially becoming the University of New Hampshire. In 1923, a visionary state charter transformed us from a small, land-grant college for some into a proud public research university for all. A few years later, students selected the Wildcat as their mascot to represent the “small but aggressive” spirit of the school and the state it calls home. Join us in celebrating 100 years as Wildcats, changing lives through the power of public higher education – and looking ahead to the essential role of UNH in our communities and world for generations to come. Enjoy menu items inspired by 1923 cuisine served at Holloway Commons and Philbrook Hall for lunch from 11:30am - 4:30pm.
