Track & Field Camp

Track & Field Camp 2025

Enrollment is expected to open on February 12.

The UNH Track & Field Camp offers students entering Grades 7-12 the opportunity to improve in track and field events. All athletes will learn the fundamentals of technique and training for all the sprints, jumps, hurdles, and throws (shot put & discus) at the middle and high school level. This is a "learn by doing" camp.

All athletes should come prepared to participate. Bring shorts and shoes (and track spikes if the student has them). We will provide all other implements, and students are welcome to bring their own if they have them.

All sprinters, jumpers, hurdlers and throwers will learn from the staff of one of the most successful collegiate track and field programs in New England. In addition, athletes will have the opportunity to train on one of the best indoor and outdoor track and field facilities in the Northeast.

What will be coached at this camp? All sprints, jumps, hurdles and throws (shot put & discus) events in Track & Field (everything except the middle distance and distance events, pole vault, javelin & hammer throw).

Camp is held at the Reginald Atkins Track & Field Facility and the Paul Sweet Oval, premiere venues which have hosted numerous America East, Collegiate New England, and NH High School Championships.

Per NCAA rules, the University of New Hampshire's athletic camps or clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).

2025 Camp Dates (subj to change): July 20-23
