The New Hampshire Youth Band provides an enriched performance experience for interested band instrument students in the Seacoast region while simultaneously providing UNH's future school band teachers with useful pedagogical experience.
These experiences will be guided by a concern for high quality, age-appropriate repertoire, by personal instruction between band members and UNH student section leaders, by using sophisticated instruments and equipment in a dedicated music environment, and by other experiences that illuminate the performance experience.
