Camp Wildcat: Extended Care Swim Lessons - Summer 2024
Campus Recreation offers group swim lessons as an extended care option for students enrolled in Camp Wildcat for the same week. Enrolled campers will be provided a snack and be walked to the UNH Outdoor Pool for group swim lessons. Lessons will run from 4:50-5:30 pm. Parents/guardians must pick up their child(ren) no later than 5:45 pm.
Weekly lesson structure: Monday - Thursday lessons will be formal instructional swim lessons following the American Red Cross Swim Curriculum. Friday will be Fun Friday with swimming games that will still focus on skills but in a fun, structured environment. In the event of inclement weather during Monday - Thursday lessons, Fun Day will then be a makeup of a fully instructional lesson. No lessons can be held at the Swasey Indoor Pool in Summer 2024.
The Aquatics staff will manage the student swim levels internally and ensure the student is placed in the appropriate level.
Enrollment is limited. Extended care is only available to students enrolled in the corresponding Camp Wildcat session.
Detailed information is sent via email from program staff to enrolled participants prior to the session start date. Please be sure the email address provided is that of a parent/legal guardian, not the participating student.
