Fans once again filled the Whittemore Center at Key Auto Group Complex for the annual White Out the Whitt showdown with rival Maine on Friday, Nov. 22, as a sellout crowd was on hand for the early-season Border Battle.

The arena was filled to capacity for the third installment of White Out the Whitt since a combination of COVID and Hockey East conference scheduling changes conspired to cancel the event for a couple of seasons. But the tradition that began in 1999 has returned with a roar, although the energetic crowd this year watched Maine skate away with a 3-1 victory. The Wildcats will look to exact some revenge when they head to Maine for a weekend doubleheader Feb. 14 and 15. Check out our fully gallery of photos above highlighting the many ways the UNH faithful showed off their Wildcat spirit.
