Favorite thing about CONNECT: How it celebrates diversity between people from different backgrounds. Through this program, I have had the pleasure of meeting ones who have become my close friends, and the people involved in CONNECT are incredibly accepting and open-minded, which has made the program an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in such a welcoming and inclusive community.
Advice to 1st Year Students: Don't be afraid to try new things and join social events in college to meet some new people and find something new to appreciate. It can make your experience more enjoyable and fulfilling. Embrace change and put yourself out there, you'll thank yourself later.
