Why would I want to become an IC Scholar?

Are you curious about national security issues? Do you want to learn about the most pressing threats to the United States? Have you considered joining the Intelligence Community to make a difference? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, the IC Scholars program may be for you.

As an IC Scholar, you will:

  1. Receive notifications of Intelligence Community internships and jobs
  2. Receive intelligence-specific resume development training and support
  3. Participate in events to learn about and network with intelligence professionals
  4. Learn about opportunities to work on faculty research
  5. Learn about IC Scholar funding opportunities
  6. Apply for field trips to visit the Intelligence Community locations in the Washington DC area

The program is open to students from all UNH majors. Even a student pursuing a dance or dairy management minor? Yes! Security Studies is interdisciplinary and the intelligence community needs people that bring a diversity of thought.

The two restrictions on the program are that you must be a United States citizen and have a GPA over 2.5 (undergraduate) or 3.0 (graduate).
