The College of Engineering and Physical Sciences is, at its heart, a service organization. Our goal is to develop human potential through education. Participation in research is an important part of that education. Our small size combined with our status as a top-tier recipient of federal research funding lets our students work face-to-face with first-class researchers to solve some of the most pressing problems facing the world today. And because UNH is a land-, sea- and space-grant college, that work is happening everywhere from the deepest ocean, to active volcanoes, the upper atmosphere and outer space.
