Configuring Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection to comply with “Host Checker” policy

The two settings necessary for Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection to comply with Host Checker policy are:

1)      The software must be up to date, and

2)      Real-Time protection is enabled.

To verify these two settings open Microsoft System Center Endpoint Protection.

Open the “Update” tab and click the “Update” button.

Next, go to the “Settings” tab.

Select “Real-time protection” from the left hand frame.

Make sure the ”Turn on real-time protection (recommended)” box is checked.

Then click the “Save changes” button to exit.
