Choose your own adventure!

With spring break on the horizon there has been a lot of talk on campus about the various vacations and adventures people will be embarking on. Don’t have a wild adventure planned yet? Don’t worry, there is plenty of time left this semester for a mini-trip and Outdoor Adventures has you covered. Outdoor Adventures offers day and overnight trips throughout the year. Some of the trips still to come this semester include an overnight canoe trip at Squam Lake, a day trip bouldering at Lincoln Woods and a day of Rock Climbing in Rumney!

If you’re worried you can’t go on a trip because you have little or no experience with the outdoors, you don’t have to be! Outdoor Adventures explains on their website that trips are open to people of all levels and that if you don’t know how to do something, they will teach you! With Outdoor Adventures you don’t even have to worry about equipment… the cost of rentals is included in the price of the trip. The trips range in cost based on length, travel and equipment needs. Most of the trips coming up this semester (excluding the lengthier spring break adventures) range in cost from $20 - $35. Not a bad price to pay for a day or two of adventure in beautiful New England!

All you have to do visit the Hamel Recreation Center equipment room to fill out paperwork and pay the rental fee. Hiking!

I've done a hike with OutdoorS Adventures! I climbed Mt. Lafayette! It was so much fun. I was having a tough year so I decided to do something great for myself. I got out in nature, with really great people! I made friends that I still keep in touch with! I recommend every UNH student go on an adventure with them at some point during their college career!
