The weather is getting warmer and everyone is starting to spend more time outdoors, so why not take your workout outside as well? There are tons of things you can do outside to get a good workout in such as running, hiking, cycling, walking, playing a sport, swimming and much more. There are many difference between working out inside versus outside. When you workout inside a gym, usually it is climate controlled, convenient and predictable, which is definitely not the case for working out outdoors.

According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, Vitamin D has many health benefits. One of the main roles Vitamin D plays is aiding in calcium absorption and bone health. Without adequate Vitamin D a person runs the risk of developing weak and misshapen bones or even Osteoporosis.

Let’s face it- autumn is almost here. It’s a sad realization that no longer will we be able to spend our days lying in the sand at the beach (slathered in SPF 50, of course, right?).
