Working with Student Veterans

Working with Student Veterans is a one to one-and-a-half hour workshop providing information about the psychological and social challenges facing student veterans. The workshop uses data gathered from UNH student veterans to discuss three areas: 1) specific demographics and challenges of the UNH student veteran community 2) utilization and levels of satisfaction with UNH services and 3) recommendations for improving UNH services for student veterans. As a result of attending this workshop, participants will develop greater sensitivity to the needs of student veterans as well as learn of valuable resources to help them in their transition to the university.
