The earner of this badge has applied Lean concepts over a 4.5-day course. The earner is able to understand the basics of project documentation, current landscape mapping, data analysis, recommended future state mapping, implementation planning, and creating a sell presentation. The earner has participated in a Lean event and has an introductory knowledge of Lean philosophy and methodology.
Earning Criteria
- This in-person or virtual Lean course takes 4.5 days to complete. Students are required to attend all 4.5 days. The student will participate in a Lean process either in-person or virtually by being an active team member or as fresh eyes of a Lean event. The student will be mentored through the Lean event by a trained facilitator who will ensure students participate throughout the 4.5-day Lean event.
