Navitas Pathway Program

The Navitas at UNH International Pathway Program, which assists international students in their transition to university, was established in 2011 in partnership with the University of New Hampshire. The program encompasses academic course instruction and is equivalent to the first year of a bachelor’s degree. Students who require additional English instruction have ESL courses through the UNH ESL Institute combined with their academic program. Students who successfully complete the program and meet the entrance criteria of their selected major continue directly into the second year of their undergraduate degree.

The Pathway Program offers small classes, increased face-to-face time with instructors, individual attention, and academic and welfare support programs and services. The program supports students academically, culturally, and socially with students being able to enter and study in three semesters per year. Students have full access to the beautiful and state-of-the-art campus and facilities. Also, as admitted UNH students from day one of the program, students enjoy all the same benefits as a student admitted directly to UNH. Students who undertake the Navitas International Pathway Program perform exceptionally well when they move to the sophomore year at university.

The Navitas office is located on the Durham campus where the co-location assists students to integrate both with, and within, the University of New Hampshire.
