Press Release

On 01/28/2012, at approximately 0126 hours, the Durham and University of New Hampshire Police Departments responded to a report of a fight on Strafford Avenue near the intersection of Edgewood Road. Strafford County Dispatch reported multiple people involved in a brawl. Further investigation revealed one male was stabbed in the torso with a knife and a second male was struck in the head with a blunt object.

 

No suspects have been identified at this time; however, composite images and last known physical descriptions are attached. A joint investigation by both agencies is currently ongoing.

Suspect 1: White male, 6’1’’, approximately 200 pounds, a heavier-set male, with light green or blue eyes.  He had blond “raggity” hair, chubby cheeks, and a gap between his two front teeth with some gaps between other teeth.  He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt underneath a black zipper hoodie, with some white writing on the chest area, jeans, and possibly boots. 

Suspect 2:  White male, 6’0”, approximately 180 pounds, an athletic build, with brown eyes.  He had black, messy, close-cropped hair with a black beard, approximately 1 cm in length.  He was last seen wearing an un-tucked, long sleeved, red and black flannel dress shirt, jeans, and possibly boots.

The victim in this matter remains hospitalized in FAIR condition.
