This presentation is a collection of images and stories Professor Smith has collected over his many years of ongoing travel to French soil. Informative and entertaining, he shares his keen interest in life in France, social and political, past and present - the bouquinistes, art and graffiti, his personal encounters, the open air markets, cemeteries, and so much more! Host organizations should be able to provide a slide projector for this presentation.

Henry Smith

Henry M. Smith is an emeritus professor of the University of New Hampshire where he was a lecturer in French from 1988-2005. He holds a Master's in French Language, Literature and Civilization. He travels to France every year to keep up with life in France - language, culture, and life on the streets.
