Daniel Innis

Dan Innis is Dean of the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire. Prior to his tenure at UNH he served as the dean of the College of Business, Public Policy and Health at the University of Maine. He earned his Ph.D. in marketing and logistics with a minor in consumer behavior from The Ohio State University in 1991. He is co-author of a book, Strategic Planning for Logistics, and his papers have appeared in numerous professional publications and journals. Dean Innis won the Council of Logistics Management Doctoral Dissertation Award in 1992 and he has received the Ackerman Award for Best Paper in Logistics and Transportation, and the DeLozier Award from the Academy of Marketing Science. He has consulted with several Fortune 500 firms in the areas of distribution, channel management, and buyer behavior. He is involved in several active research projects in the areas of the importance of customer service performance to a firm's overall performance, customer sensitivity across various managerial levels in an organization, logistics strategic planning, and the impact of quick response logistics on channel member behavior and attitudes.
