The Greening of Faith: God, the Environment and the Good Life (Book Title)
The religious and spiritual implications of human interaction with nature and the environment provide the general theme for the book “The Greening of Faith: God, the Environment and the Good Life”, edited by Professor John Carroll. Buddhism, Christianity (Catholic, evangelical, and liberal Protestant) and Judaism are among the traditions represented by its eclectic group of contributing writers. Like most, Professor Carroll believes that continuing depredation of our environment threatens our planet and our existence on it, but conflict arises in finding a solution to the problem. Following the themes of this book he speaks to the audience and explains how "the environment is not only a spiritual issue, but the spiritual issue of our time."
