Steve Jones, Ph.D., U. of Wisconsin, Madison is the director of the Center for Marine Biology at the University of New Hampshire. His main focuses of research are ribotyping E. coli to identify sources of fecal contamination in surface waters; microbial cycling of mercury in estuarine and marine environments; monitoring for toxic chemicals in the marine environment and storm water-related pollution of estuarine waters.
