Program Description:

This presentation will explore the use of wood as an archaeological tool in the researching the past. Examples include lumber samples discovered in historic structures as well as in early cemeteries of NH.

Barrett Rock

Barrett Rock, Ph.D., U. of Maryland, is a professor of natural resources and earth, oceans, and space, and director of the Complex Systems Research Center at the University of New Hampshire. His research interests include climate change and remote sensing of vegetation.
