We arrived just in time to watch student Nathan Briand pull a roasted Rock Cornish game hen from the oven and whip up a mirepoix-based gravy to drizzle over the meat, artfully presented with potatoes and squash.

    Katie Edwards received the 2015 Outstanding Assistant Professor Award at the annual faculty excellence ceremony recently. Edwards is director of the Interpersonal Violence Research Laboratory in the UNH department of psychology. She says one of her favorite things about being a professor is mentoring students in the lab as they develop their own research.

    Rosemary Caron Named 2015 Outstanding Associate Professor
    Rosemary Caron received the 2015 Outstanding Associate Professor Award at the annual faculty excellence ceremony on Oct.15. The award recognizes Caron’s prodigious accomplishments in teaching, research and service. A professor of health management and policy in the UNH College of Health and Human Services, Caron says, “I believe in showing the relevance of what we’re talking about in any given course to the student’s life or what’s ahead of them after graduation.” Hear more in this video.
