The University of New Hampshire Department of Music announces the formation of a brand new Youth Symphony Orchestra, beginning September 2013.
The youth orchestra is intended for string players in grades 4 to 12 who live in the seacoast region. The rehearsals will take place at the Paul Creative Arts Center on the Durham campus on Sunday evenings between 6:00 and 8:00 pm. Auditions will be held on Sunday, September 22nd, starting at 6:00 pm. The Winter Concert is scheduled for Sunday, December 8th, at 7:00 pm.
The Youth Symphony Orchestra will be led by Dr. David Upham.
