UNHtoday Story Ideas
If you have a story idea, please let us know. Please keep in mind that UNHtoday is an external publication. Internal stories are better suited for Campus Journal. Placement is not guaranteed.
Please provide a summary of the story/event as well as a Web address/URL where more information is located. Events should all be listed on the UNH Master Calendar and must to be open to the general public. Ten working days notice is required for events in the calendar section.
Home Page Photos and Story Ideas
Home page photos are changed every Friday and run for one week. If you have a story or photo idea, please let us know. Placement is not guaranteed. All events should be entered into the UNH Master Calendar.
We will need the following information:
- Photos are updated on Fridays. Please provide the Friday that you would like the item to start running. (Submit three weeks prior)
- The Web address/URL where more information is located.
- If there are any photos available. (We'll contact you for them later.)
Masthead Specifications
The University logo and wordmark must be featured prominently in the upper
left portion of the masthead. The sub-entity name should appear in Myriad
Bold or Verdana type below the wordmark. The type size of the sub-entity
name is not to exceed 30 pixels in height (may be smaller). Acceptable
colors for the masthead are Blue (000066) with white (ffffff) lettering,
or white (ffffff) with blue (000066) lettering. Download a PSD template

Additional illustrative elements are allowed provided that they are limited
to the right half of the masthead or do not visually compete with the wordmark
and logo. They must be approved by Editorial and Creative Services.
Web sites designed prior to January 2009 may be exempt from these guidelines
until they are redesigned in the future.
Americans With Disabilities Act
The University, (along with UNH-System), endorses the Guidelines of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) as the standard for World Wide Web accessibility and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. W3C is composed of over 400 member organizations world-wide (public and private) developing common protocols to promote the evolution of the World Wide Web and ensure its inter-operability. As part of its work, the W3C has developed accessibility guidelines for World Wide Web sites and pages. The standards of the Federal Rehabilitation Act (Section 508) are consistent with the W3C Guidelines and provide achievable, well-documented guidelines for implementation. Report violations.
