Investigating Paula Modersohn-Becker’s Self Portraits

Allie Ross-Raymond spent her summer in Berlin and Bremen Germany investigating the self-portraits of artist Paula Modersohn-Becker. Specifically, she examined questions of gender and identity in Modersohn-Becker’s work.

While there, Ross-Raymond created a series of her own paintings. These works were then placed on exhibit at UNH's Alcove Gallery in the Paul Creative Arts Center.
