Wildcat Transit & Campus Connector
Public transit services

University of New Hampshire owns and operates campus-based Connector routes and Public Transit routes within Dover, Newington, Newmarket and Portsmouth.  All routes are open to the public!


Service Bulletin:  Storm-related changes to service, 1/26 - 1/28:

Due to the snowstorm the following changes in bus service are announced:

MON. 1/26:  Campus connector ends at midnight.  No WPB Connector.

TUE. 1/27:  NO SERVICE (UNH under curtailment)

WED. 1/28:  Bus services to accommodate a noon UNH opening

  • 10:35a.m. 4A (Portsmouth)
  • 10:35a.m. 125x  (Rochester)
  • 11:05a.m. 3A (Dover)
  • 11:10a.m. 5 (Newmarket)
  • Campus Connector to begin at 11:30a.m.

Please stay attentive for possible updates!

SERVICE BULLETIN:  Change to Route 3A starts 1/19:

Due to scheduled extended construction on Silver Street in Dover, the Route 3A bus will be re-routed along Washington Street on the way back to Durham.  Several stops on Silver Street will therefore be taken off line and replaced with new stops on Washington & Arch streets starting Monday, January 19 and continuing indefinitely.  There is no change on the Route 3B.  Please refer to the public announcement for details.

Campus Connector Routes

Service Bulletin:  Year-long construction detour in Portsmouth re-routes 4A & 4B service!

Starting July 14, 2014, through about mid-summer of 2015, Maplewood Avenue will be closed to through traffic.  This will force a detour on Wildcat Transit Routes 4A and 4B during this period which will require the extended shut-down of all bus stops on Maplewood.  Please refer to the full detour description, located here.

Passenger Tip

Wildcat Transit buses will not stop at all stops. In order to disembark from bus, simply pull the "Stop Requested" cord along the windows of the buses. If your bus is not equipped with a stop requested cord, make your request directly to the bus driver.
