"Arts for Life" Celebration: 1960-2010
Return to Department History page
In 1960, the Paul Creative Arts Center was first opened to the public. In the last 50 years, thousands of students have cultivated their artistic pursuits. In honor of the creativity that has gone on and will continue, a year-long celebration entitled "Arts for Life" will take place throughout the 2010-2011 academic year. The Departments of Art & Art History, Music, Theatre & Dance, and the Museum of Art have special events planned throughout the year to celebrate the arts at UNH.
