Call backs will take place Friday, May 4 from 9:00pm-10:30pm in PCAC room M213.
Sign up for an audition slot on the call board near the Hennessy Theatre. These are combined auditions with Macbeth and Avenue Q.
WHERE?
Hennessy Theatre, Paul Creative Arts Center
WHAT ARE THE SHOWS?
When you audition, you will be considered for
---"Macbeth" directed by Deb Kinghorn;
---"Avenue Q" directed by Raina Ames & Carol Fisher;
---"Old Times" directed by David Richman
You will be considered for all three productions.
MAY I PERFORM IN MORE THAN ONE PRODUCTION?
If you perform in "Macbeth" you may also perform in "Old Times." However, if you perform in "Avenue Q," you may not perform in any other fall production.
MAY I CHOOSE WHICH SHOW I WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR?
Theatre majors and minors are expected to attend all call backs for plays that they have auditioned for and to accept roles for which they have been cast.
WHAT DO I DO IF I WANT TO AUDITION?
There are three steps.
1. Fill out an audition form and send it as an email attachment to mike.wood@unh.edu.
2. You will find a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board by the Hennessy Theatre. Sign up for a five-minute appointment.
3. Come to the audition prepared to perform a 1-minute SHAKESPEAREAN monologue (NO SONNETS), 16-32 bars of music SUNG WITH A PUPPET, and (optional) presentation of the 8 bar piece prepared in the Avenue Q pre-audition workshop (April 23, 6:30-8pm in the Hennessy Theatre).
