Staff Bios:
Jason Boucher has been a member of CIS for over three years and a part of the UNH community since 1994. He has worked for both the CIS Help Desk and Training & Publications. He is also a contributing writer, editor, and webmaster for Pipeline. Boucher was also a part of the staff that took home the 2006 National SIGUCCS Award for Best Electronic Newsletter for CIS’ publication of their student newsletter, UNH Student IT Pipeline. While a member of the executive staff of WUNH, Jay was a nominee for CMJ Music Director of the Year. Outside of work, Boucher promotes many genres of music, dabbles as a disc jockey, and hosts a weekly live music series in Portsmouth, NH.
Katherine Derby has been on the staff of Signals and Pipeline since their inception and wears many hats; editor, photographer, designer, webmaster, and writer. A former web and graphic design instructor, she retains her connection to the classroom as the CIS Training Center Coordinator. Katherine keeps her marketing, communication, and web skills honed working with local small businesses, national non-profits, and international educational institutions in her off-hours.
Martin England has worked for CIS since he first came to UNH back in 1997. He has been a writer, editor and photographer for Signals since June 2001, and was part of a staff that took home a 2006 National SIGUCCS Award for Best Electronic Newsletter for CIS’ publication of their student newsletter, IT Pipeline. Outside of work, Martin is a singer/songwriter, and also freelances for various local and regional entertainment publications.
