Presser Scholar 2012
This year's Presser Scholar is Kelly Wallace. Kelly is a lifelong resident of Pembroke, NH and a graduate of Pembroke Academy. She is a clarinet player studying music education. At UNH, she is a member of the UNH Wind Symphony and enjoys participating in chamber music with a clarinet quartet and a woodwind quintet. She has also been active in the UNH collegiate chapter of the National Association for Music Education and currently serves as its secretary. During the summer, she plays in the Nevers’ Second Regiment Band in Concord. Aside from music she loves to sit outside and read, and spend time with her family.
