Student Achievement News

UNH Media Relations recognizes and celebrates the achievements of our students by sending news of accomplishments to students' hometown newspapers. Media Relations reserves the right to review the information, confirm its accuracy, and determine whether or not a news release will be distributed. In addition, individual newspapers control what, how and whether they publish such information. Major publications in large metro areas are unlikely to run hometown news releases.

Dean's List and Commencement

UNH Media Relations, in cooperation with the office of the registrar, sends lists to all New England newspapers with the names of students who have made Dean's List (spring and fall) and who have graduated (after May Commencement). Individual newspapers control how and whether they publish such information. If you live outside New England and would like to have the Dean’s List or Commencement announcement sent to your hometown paper, or you have a question about Dean's List or Commencement hometown news, contact Stephanie Weatherbee at s.weatherbee@unh.edu or 603-862-2494.

Other Student Achievements

Students and their parents are invited to submit information regarding significant student achievements, including major academic achievements and leadership positions. Information submitted online will be sent to the hometown newspapers of students; individual newspapers control whether and how they publish such information. Please fill out ONE FORM for EACH ANNOUNCEMENT. Required fields are in red.
