Holloway Commons Summer Hours
Holloway Commons is open 7 days a week, 6:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. throughout the summer, offering the full menu.
Faculty and staff meal plans are on sale now.  Purchase any plan (50, 75, 100 or 150 entries) prior to July 1 and receive 5 free meals as a bonus. Retirement Reception for Anthony Zizos, Associate VP of Operations, June 27
A retirement reception will be held for Anthony Zizos, associate vice president of Operations, in celebration of his 31 years of service and dedication to the university Wednesday, June 27, from 3 -5 p.m. in the Piscataqua Room at Holloway Commons. 
UNH Office of Conduct & Mediation Seeks Volunteers
The UNH Office of Conduct and Mediation is seeking faculty and staff volunteers. This is a great way to get involved on campus and have meaningful contact with students who may not be making the best choices. No prior disciplinary or legal experience necessary.
Take part in the disciplinary hearing process by serving on hearing boards or administering appeals. Scheduling and time commitment are flexible based on your needs. Training is provided and will take place at your convenience. We encourage anyone interested to apply but at this time, we are especially in need of more male faculty and staff volunteers.

FY12 Gifts Must Be Processed by June 28
The university's fiscal year ends on June 30. Any donations received by campus departments should reach the Gift & Data Management Department at the Elliott Alumni Center no later than the close of business Thursday, June 28 to be processed in FY12.  Any gifts received after this date will be processed in FY13.  If you have any questions, contact Christine Royle at 2-4131 or christine.royle@unh.edu.

UNH Graduate School Manchester Campus Information Session June 5
The UNH Graduate School Manchester Campus is hosting information sessions on the first Tuesday of every month. The next session will be held Tuesday, June 5, at 6 p.m.

UNH HERS Scholarship Applications Available; Apply by June 29 
UNH women faculty and PAT staff are invited to apply for a scholarship to attend the 2012-2013 HERS Management Institute for Women in Higher Education at Wellesley College. (For full information on the HERS Institute at Wellesley College visit: http://www.hersnet.org/Institutes.asp?menu=HERS for a complete description. If your attendance is contingent on this scholarship do not open an application at the WEB site).

Attendance comprises all of the dates listed during the year.

The UNH scholarship covers tuition, fees, related hotel and meal expenses, and transportation associated with attendance.

To apply, submit a letter of interest stating how you would benefit from the experience and how your attendance would contribute to your role at the university and further its mission. Include a letter of reference (emails are fine) from a colleague, and a recent CV or resume by June 29, through campus mail to Nancy Hamer, AABSC, 106 Stoke Hall or nancy.hamer@unh.edu.

Awarded recipients will be notified via email by July 20, 2011.

MUB Copy Center Summer Hours
The MUB Copy Center will be closed from May 21 - Aug. 17 and will reopen Monday, Aug. 20.  During this time, Printing and Mailing Services will be shifting all work to the West Edge facility and expect to maintain the level of service the UNH community has grown accustom to.

Projects may be submitted to the online order site http://www.printing.unh.edu/index.html, emailed to printing.services@unh.edu, dropped off at the West Edge office, or you may call 2-0537 to arrange for the project to be picked up. The West Edge office is open Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Yoga and Pilates at Campus Rec
Campus Recreation will be offering yoga and Pilates classes May 29-June 29. Cost is $25 for 5 classes for Rec members or UNH students with ID; all others are $45 for 5 classes.  Yoga meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:05-1p.m. and Pilates is Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. Register at the front desk of the Recreation Center or call 2-2031 with credit card info. Register by Thursday, May 24, to ensure classes have enough participants to be offered and to ensure your spot. Wildcat Kids' Camp June 18- 22
The women's soccer program will host Wildcat Kids' Week from June 18-22, at the UNH field house. The program is open to boys and girls entering kindergarten and first grade (potential expansion to 2nd and 3rd graders; make inquiry to kelly.martin@unh.edu).

The full-day session runs from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. and cost $200 for the week. A half-day option is available from 9 a.m. - noon or from 1- 4 p.m. for $100 for the week. Supervision will be provided 8:30-9 a.m. and 4 - 4:30 p.m. free of charge for working parents.

Camp activities include crafts and sports such as soccer, basketball, gymnastics and volleyball. All activities take place in the field house classrooms, athletic fields, tennis courts and the outdoor track. Campers will be responsible for bringing their own lunches; snacks will be provided twice daily.

Chimney Work Will Close Parking Near Central Heating Plant Week May 29
Work on the central plant by Pettee Hall will begin Monday, May 21. The designated parking spaces across from the plant and adjacent to Pettee Hall will be unavailable May 29 through June 6 while the demolition of the top portion of the chimney occurs. 

Parking Services will work with Facilities, Design and Construction, and Boston Chimney to ensure that the spaces remain vacant during demolition to ensure that no damage to personal property occurs. 

Application Fee for Online MBA Waived for USNH Employees Through May 31
The $65 application fee for the online MBA program being offered this fall at the Whittemore School of Business and Economics will be waived for USNH employees until May 31.

Change Banner Password
All users of Banner Finance/HR must change their BPRD and BTST passwords by July 22 to comply with new password strength requirements. Unchanged passwords will expire on July 23.

Memorial Service for George Frick June 16
There will be a memorial service honoring George “Curly” Frick Saturday, June 16, at 2 p.m. at the Elliott Alumni Center (1925 Room). The family invites all that knew George to attend this special celebration of his life.  RSVP by June 4, 868-2750.

Weight Watchers Online Program Eligible for Up to $200 Reimbursement
The Weight Watchers online program is now one of Harvard Pilgrim’s approved health education classes, allowing participants to apply for reimbursement for up to $200 per calendar year. Previously, reimbursement was for physically attending meetings. Confidential HIV Counseling/Testing

Office of Human Resources Benefits Representatives on Campus
Every other Monday, representatives from the Office of Human Resources, Benefits Administration will be available on campus to answer benefits questions, assist with enrollment, change in status and retirement.  Call Sue Nolan, 2-0504, for an appointment. Lactation Room Available
Dimond Library and the UNH President’s Commission on the Status of Women would like to call attention to a lactation room that is available in Dimond Library. This private room contains a hospital-grade Medela breast pump, a gliding rocker, a refrigerator, and soft music. The room is designed for nursing and milk expression.
