Q: I’m lost at UNH! How can I find out where I am using the UNH campus map for iPhone?

A: OK, this wasn’t the actual question, but it’s a paraphrase by a parent at the UNH Resource Fair today, who asked why his UNH campus map app did not show his location on his iPhone. First and foremost, the UNH campus map is freely available for iOS and Android devices. You can find it in your app store by searching on ‘UNH map.’

To turn on location services for individual apps using iPhone:

  1. Go to settings.
  2. Click on location services.
  3. Choose the App on which you would like to turn on location services (in this case, choose UNH map) and slide the button to on.

Once you have UNH campus map installed and have location services turned on, you can then open the app, go to show campus map and choose my location. A pushpin will appear, revealing your exact campus location.
