UNH IT will be performing a Blackboard Service Pack upgrade on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012. The current Blackboard version 9.1 Service Pack 7 will be upgraded to version 9.1 Service Pack 9. Blackboard may be unavailable until 4 p.m.

The upgrade to Service Pack 9 offers instructors and students a streamlined view and a number of powerful features to enhance teaching and learning. UNH IT/Academic Technology will provide training for faculty and staff on the new features and functionality of SP9 in August and September. Blackboard offers an On-Demand Learning Center that provides free access to quick video tutorials and getting started guides in the following topic areas:

• Building Courses
• Communicating and Collaborating
• Grading and Assessing
• Student Blackboard Uses and Best Practices
