Cooperative Extension Forester Northeast Regional Tree Farm Inspector of the Year

Andy Fast, a field specialist with Cooperative Extension, has been named the Northeast Region Tree Farm Inspector of the Year by the American Tree Farm System®, a nationwide program that encourages private forest owners to actively manage their forests in a sustainable manner for multiple values.
Fast provides technical assistance and outreach education to landowners, natural resources professionals, and municipalities in forestry, wildlife, and conservation.
